CareBound Terms of Service

1. Introduction

Welcome to CareBound ("CareBound," "we," "our," or "us"). CareBound operates an online platform that connects people seeking healthcare services abroad ("Users") with trusted partner hospitals and clinics ("Providers").

By accessing or using our website, platform, or related services (collectively, the "Services"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms").

If you do not agree, please do not use the Services.

2. Nature of Our Service

CareBound is not a medical provider and does not offer medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment. We act solely as a connector and booking facilitator between Users and Providers.

All medical services are delivered exclusively by the respective Providers under their own licenses, responsibility, and applicable law.

3. Account and Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old and capable of entering into a binding contract to use CareBound. You agree to provide accurate and complete information when creating an account or making a booking, and to keep that information up to date.

4. Bookings and Payments

All bookings are made through the CareBound platform. When you make a booking, you authorize CareBound to process payments on behalf of the selected Provider. Payment terms (including deposit amounts, cancellation policies, and refund conditions) will be displayed during checkout and in your booking confirmation.

Refunds will be processed in accordance with the applicable Provider's cancellation policy.

5. User Responsibilities

You are responsible for:

• Ensuring that you meet all visa, travel, and health requirements for receiving treatment abroad.
• Providing accurate medical history or documentation requested by Providers.
• Following the Provider's policies and medical guidance.

CareBound is not responsible for any medical outcomes, treatment decisions, or travel-related issues.

6. Provider Relationships

Each Provider listed on CareBound operates independently and is not an employee, agent, or representative of CareBound. We verify information to the extent commercially reasonable, but we do not guarantee the qualifications, licenses, or capabilities of any Provider.

Any disputes or claims arising from medical services should be directed to the relevant Provider.

7. Intellectual Property

All content and materials on the CareBound platform, including logos, text, graphics, software, and trademarks, are owned by or licensed to CareBound and are protected by intellectual property laws.

You may not reproduce, distribute, or modify any part of the platform without prior written consent.

8. Privacy

Your use of the Services is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which describes how we collect, use, and protect your personal data.

By using CareBound, you consent to that collection and use.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law:

• CareBound is not liable for any medical procedures, results, or complications arising from care provided by third-party Providers.
• CareBound's total liability for any claim related to your use of the Services will not exceed the total fees paid to CareBound for that booking.

10. Indemnification

You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless CareBound, its affiliates, and its team from any claims, damages, or expenses arising from (a) your use of the Services; (b) your interaction with Providers; or (c) your violation of these Terms.

11. Changes to the Terms

We may update these Terms periodically. If we make material changes, we'll post the revised version on this page with an updated effective date.

Continued use of the Services after changes means you accept the updated Terms.

12. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by and interpreted under the laws of the State of Delaware, USA, without regard to conflict-of-law principles.

For operational purposes, CareBound may also comply with applicable regulations in the Republic of Korea.
